The artist behind By.LioraJane. I’m an architect and a truly blessed soul.

It all started when I was very young. Since I was 6 years old, I’ve always had an interest in makeup. I took my first makeup course when I was just 10 years old – little Jane loves makeup so much ! 

However, growing up in an Asian country, especially with a Chinese background (people usually call me Chi-ndo, which means Chinese Indonesian), my career choices were expected to be engineer, architect, or doctor.

Architecture was my first choice because it has art element on it. I enjoyed my studies in Sydney and ended up working at an amazing firm here.

Three years into my job, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to learn makeup again! I seized the chance to learn and created my Instagram account on that day. Indeed, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

That year, I went from working with familiar faces to being trusted by strangers on their wedding days (which was so magical). I then took another makeup course and three hair styling courses to hone my skills.

I’m proud to say that my side hustle has now become my main job. God has given me this precious gift, and I can’t wait to meet all my future clients and friends out there!
